The Greymouth Star supplement to celebrate the official opening of the West Coast Wilderness Trail has earned prestigious national recognition.

The supplement was named as runner-up in the best advertising feature category in the New Zealand Community Newspaper Awards. The 16-page supplement was printed in advance of the trail's official opening on November 23, 2013.
